BUT TODAY YOU PEEK OUT OF THE CHRYSALIS AND REALLY SEE YOURSELF FOR THE FIRST TIME. AND YOU LOVE IT ALL. AND WHEN YOU DO, YOU REALIZE PEOPLE WANT TO SEE THE EVERYTHING BUT THE PERFECT.

AND YOU LET THEM, BECAUSE WHEN YOU LOVE YOURSELF, IT IS A LITTLE EASIER TO LET EVERYONE ELSE LOVE YOU TOO. AND YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL APPRECIATE YOU FOR IT.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE? Even though my designs are killer, my photography is fire, and in general my website makes me appear put together, you should know I am a one woman operation. Literally.

Fingers crossed, I will be able to have a studio this time next year, but until then, I am creating each garment in my spare bedroom. So for now, everything is made to order. I know three to six weeks is a long time to wait for something this fun but I really appreciate you bearing with me.

Now, for the construction. When I first started my sewing journey, I set out to be able to perfect my seams. I wanted people to be shocked that I made what I was wearing because it was scary good. Sometimes when people try on my clothes, they put it on inside out because I think our insides should be just as beautiful as our outsides.

The garb you are lusting over has been meticulously crafted and should only be laundered by professionals. DRY CLEAN ONLY. But if you need to steam or press to keep it crisp, please look for the stitch line to match up your pleats. Something you will only be able to see if you are really looking for it. So love and care for her and she never stop surprising you.

But when I tell you, I have never had more fun with my clothes on, I mean it. All eyes will be on you and you will probably even make some friends. Get that, making friends as adults.

Be warned though, with great clothes come great responsibility. I will often have on jeans and a tank for the car ride and change in the backseat upon arrival to the party Keep your pleats crisp!
